Talking about Las Vegas Family Vacation

Las Vegas Family Vacation
Okay... So I am NOT leaving Las Vegas, period. Send my mail to Las Vegas, NV. Have my laptop, Sprint Broadband Card... what else do I need - oh, maybe a solar battery.  I am changing my zipcode. It's 10:30AM, very breezy, blue skies and mid 80's. Is this heaven?

Come visit me on at the Grandview on Las Vegas Boulevard!

Carnival Splendor Inaugural

We are back from our trip to the west coast to sail on the Carnival Splendor Inaugural. Thanks to our Carnival Business Development Manager, Geoff Cox, we had ten cabins on both the San Francisco and Los Angeles sailings. What an amazing ship. Anyone who has not sailed on Carnival in a while has not sailed on Carnival. This ship was as nice as any other ship we have been on. I put it right up their with Royal Caribbean's Voyager Class ships. While this was a working trip and we never unpacked, it was a great time. Patricia, Rick and I were able to meet with twenty plus agents of KHM Travel Group. For many of us, it was the first time to be actually able to put a face with a name.

Costa Cruise Jan 2009

What a surprise! We had a great time on the Costa Fortuna... again! Let me explain. Sure, Carnival owns Costa and a bunch of other lines, but we didn't expect this. See, back in October we sailed on the Carnival Destiny. Well, the Fortuna was the same ship, same layout... just cleaner, more well kept and much more beautiful. There was definitely a European flair to this cruise. First, the primary language was of course, Italian. The pizza... left something to be desired, yuk. All in all it was a really fun cruise. Patricia and I enjoyed it and would sail Costa again.

FYI... we are sailing March 21st our of San Francisco on the new Carnival Splendor for the inaugural. Then, Patricia and I are taking David & Ashley (her first cruise) and a bunch of agents on the Carnival Pride for a six day cruise our of Baltimore on April 27th.  We are aggressively putting together a group to sail on the Princess Emerald on October 18th. Call me if you are interested in joining us. I have information ready to go!

Kruising with the Kramers!

What do you think? Like the title? "Kruising with the Kramers? Well, the 2009 season actually begins for us this coming Saturday as we will be leaving on a seven night Western Caribbean Cruise aboard Costa's Fortuna. This is a little shift for us away from our favorite line - Royal Caribbean.  We are travel with an open mind and anxiously looking for a different experience. As always, I will post when we get back.

Our next cruise is slated for March 21st as we travel to the west coast for the inaugural sailing on Carnival's Splendor. The only thing on the schedule currently is our first sailing ever on Princess Cruises. We have another seven night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Emerald Princess on October 18, 2009. We already have cabins blocked on the Celebrity Solstice for March 14, 2010.

Hey we've got room for you too.  Give us a call - let's get packing! ~ One more thing.... you haven't left a comment in a while. Write me a note!

Next Travel Agent FAM on RCCL

We just announced our latest Travel Agent event scheduled for this coming March 22, 2009 aboard Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas. This is a seven night Eastern Caribbean cruise to San Juan, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas and Philipsburg, St. Maarten. We did this exact itinerary in February 2008. The ship is amazing as one of the largest cruise ships in the world. For our travel agents, we have a negotiated rate of just $399 and that includes all taxes, gratuities and meals. Royal Caribbean gave us 40 cabins, but we had sixty-plus agents request to join us. There may be additional cabins made available at group rates.

Let us know if you'd like to go!
